User Choice is the name used throughout Australia for the system that allows trainees and employers to select the Registered Training Provider (RTO) of their choice to deliver traineeship training. User Choice aims to improve the relevance and responsiveness of the training system by giving trainees and employers a choice about where, when and how their training is delivered. Employers, and trainees, negotiate with an RTO of their choice to deliver training to achieve a nationally recognised traineeship qualification.
All trainees and employers need to have a Supervising Registered Training Organisation to help them work through the traineeship. That's where we come in!
Traineeships are an excellent way to learn skills while you work!
Prime Learning Pty Ltd, T/A Specialised Training Services & Brisbane Learning Centre, is a Registered Training Organisation with a User Choice Contract. We provide quality training and mentoring support throughout Australia for all of our students and trainees.
Employing a trainee in your workplace provides a rewarding opportunity for your organisation, and you will have the opportunity to help a trainee gain real skills right in your workplace through both informal and formal training activities. As an employer of a trainee your organisation may be eligible to receive incentive payments from the Federal Government and training subsidies from the State Government through User Choice.
