With our CHC50213 Diploma of School Age Education and Care, you will learn the skills and knowledge required to build relationships with schools and provide opportunities for children through participation in a positive learning environment.
If you’ve got an inclination for fostering the development of young people, this could be just the right course for you. The CHC50213 Diploma of School Age Education and Care combines theoretical and higher lever technical skills to support educators who are responsible for the day-to-day running of a before and after school care and/or vacation care service.
You’ll be adept in planning, implementing and managing programs which address regulatory and duty of care requirements.
This course will provide you with the confidence to pursue a career in outside school hours care.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification, a preferred pathway for candidates considering this qualification include achieving a Certificate IV in either School Age Education or Care or other relevant qualification, or demonstrated skills.
