Persons working at this level will support information technology activities in the workplace in a chosen ICT area, including technical support, network administration, web technologies, software applications or digital media technologies.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification, but preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include achieving ICT30115 Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology, or other relevant qualifications or units equivalent to the core of ICT30115, or demonstrated skills.

ICT30115 - Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology

This course can be completed in 12 months (based on a full-time workload) or up to 24 months through a traineeship. It requires the successful completion of seventeen (17) units of competency made up of six (6) core units and eleven (11) elective units.
The elective units consist of five (5) units from one of the following specialist elective groups: Group A Applications, Group B Network administration, Group C Support, Group D Web technologies or Group E Multimedia. Up to six (6) elective units can be chosen from any of the specialist elective groups below or from the general elective units below. Up to three (3) units can be chosen from the ICT Information and Communications Technology Training Package or any other Training Package or accredited course at Certificate II, III or IV level.
